Israel Mobolaji Adesanya, a Nigerian-born New Zealand professional Mixed Martial Artist (MMA), gets celebrity support ahead of his upcoming battle.
Adesanya, 32, will compete in the main event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 276 versus Jared Cannonier.

At the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States of America, Adesanya, the reigning UFC welterweight champion, will face number one contender Cannonier (USA).

Before the combat. Aubrey Drake Graham, a Canadian rapper, musician, and actor, backed Adesanya.

Drake chose to back Adesanya to retain his UFC welterweight belt by defeating Cannonier.

Drake called Adesanya on FaceTime to alert him of a one-million-dollar wager he had placed.
Drake came to Instagram to share his wager on the bout between Adesanya and Cannonier.

According to the post, “One of the most amazing men I know…the creator of Death Note himself, and my partner alongside @stake @stylebender in the BIG FIGHT TMRW…It’s worth a million dollars.”

“I already know what time it is,” Drake said to Adesanya.

I put up a million light bulbs. I wasn’t having fun.

“I had to install a light mil on my bother. The return on investment is guaranteed.”

Adesanya, who has promised never to fight again in New Zealand, seems unconcerned by the large money wagered on him to win.

Adesanya will face Cannonier in the early hours of July 3, 2022.
