If reports about Nigeria’s indigenous and Afro-pop musician, Flavour, are to be believed, the singer may have collected a stunning $3 million for his Amazon Prime Video biography.

The announcement of Flavour’s latest accomplishment sparked debate on social media platforms this week, with some of his fans tweeting that the singer had become the first performer in Nigeria to collect such a large sum from Amazon.

According to R’s findings, a biopic is a film that portrays the tale of someone’s life. Wikipedia defines it as a film that dramatizes the life of a specific person, generally a prominent or historical figure.

Flavour’s supporters claim that he received an early payment for his Amazon Prime Video biography. This just means that Flavour will be working with Amazon for the next four years, as per the terms of the deal he signed with the company.

Flavour is the first African to be paid $3 million for a film with Amazon. It also smashes Wizkid’s record of being the first African musician to be paid $1 million to headline the Rolling Loud Music Festival.

While Flavour has remained silent about his latest accomplishment, it is thought that the singer chose to keep the news private because he seldom makes his musical triumph public.

According to a source close to the musician, “Flavour will not make a big deal out of this because he’s a quiet guy who loves to keep his achievements secret.”
