Former Arsenal star Jack Wilshere set to return to the club

Former Arsenal player Jack Wilshere intends to rejoin the club as a youth coach.

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is ready to renew his contract with his former club. Wilshire played for the Gunners for many years, breaking through as a 16-year-old and impressing fans with his slick footwork and maturity.

Because of persistent ailments, the former England international had his growth stalled.

He terminated his 17-year association with the club by joining relegation-bound Bournemouth before moving to the Danish side of Aarhus.

The former PFA young player of the year frequently showed flashes of his full talent but never appeared to be the world-beater he had claimed to be.

Arsenal school boss Per Mertesacker is trying to hire new personnel after two of his teachers left in the winter. According to The Evening Standard, he is attempting to re-sign Wilshire and has talked with his old teammate.

Wilshire was invited back to the club last season to train with the first team in order to stay fit, a privilege he earned by keeping a strong connection with his Arsenal family.

Wilshire claimed that his return to the club last season allowed him the opportunity to consider a coaching career. “When I returned to Arsenal, I was teaching the under-18s and under-23s every day, and I enjoyed every minute of it.” I had a great time being back on the field and teaching.” Wilshire explained.

WIlshire hopes to inspire the next generation of academy products, producing more stars such as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe.
