According to the Governor, the death of the Chief Imam depleted the ranks of community leaders, whose leadership positions are critical to societal cohesion, stability, peace, and security.

“On behalf of the government and people of Kwara State, I express our deepest sympathies to the Muslim community, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, and the Chief Imam’s immediate family.”

“He left a legacy as a brilliant leader who contributed to the growth of his town.”

“We implore Allah to pardon his flaws, grant him al-jannah Firdaus, and maintain the ummah and his family on the straight road,” he stated.
