Mystery Exposed – Who was Jack the Ripper

Jack the Ripper murdered at least five women in London in 1888, mutilating their bodies. A series of letters were sent to authorities, purportedly from the Ripper, mocking officials’ efforts to discover the Ripper. (Whether any of them were truly penned by the Ripper is debatable among academics.) These letters became the name “Jack the Ripper.”

Needless to say, the Ripper was never located, and scores of persons have been suggested as plausible suspects throughout the years. In his 2012 book “Jack the Ripper: The Hand of a Woman,” John Morris claims that a woman called Lizzie Williams was the Ripper, while other Ripper specialists disagree. It remains doubtful that the Ripper’s actual identity will ever be known for certain.
