Ighalo was in action on Monday, June 27, 2022, when Al-Hilal beat Al-Faisaly in their final league game of the season.
The Super Eagles attacker scored the goal in the seventh minute, converting a through pass from Michael Richard Delgado de Oliveira.
Ighalo scored his second goal of the game in the 64th minute of the second half after another assist by Richard Delgado de Oliveira.
In the 70th minute, Khalid Al Kabi scored for Al-Faisaly from a Clayson cross, but Al-Hilal held on to a 2-1 lead to achieve a historic victory over Al-Faisaly.

Ighalo finished the season as the highest scorer in Saudi Arabia, with 24 goals for Al-Shabab and Al-Hilal.
It was Al-18th Hilal’s Saudi Arabian league title and the club’s 65th overall.
