Progress is crowned the winner of Season 7 of Nigerian Idol
Progress has been crowned the season 7 winner of Nigerian Idol after months of tough musical performances.
Progress was declared the winner after receiving the most votes from fans in a fiercely contested struggle with second-place winner Zadok, who split 45 million votes between them.
Progress, on the other hand, was the man of the night, earning N30 million Naira, an SUV, and other branded gifts.
The judges, Obi Asika, D Banj, and Simi, also performed for the crowd at the finals. Kingdom, the Season 6 champion, and Pheelz, a music producer turned vocalist, both delivered riveting performances.
Progress has joined a select group of singers from reality singing competitions and will remain at the top for the next twelve months, until the new season begins.
