RMD explains why he does not want to be forgotten.

Richard Mofe-Damijo, called RMD, a veteran actor who rose to prominence via his seasoned parts in Nigerian films, has stated why he does not want to be forgotten.

RMD, a former Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, has opened up on how he has kept relevant over the years and why he wants to be relevant.

He stated this during the hosting of a book reading by Roving Heights, titled ‘RMD: Portrait of a Warri Boy.’

“Times come and go, but one will always be there because one has learned how to glide through the seasons when they arrive,” he added. I’m really passionate about my job, and I don’t want to be forgotten or become ‘dead.’ I adapt to the times. I am fortunate to have a daughter who works in finance, and she simply throws me into the deep end. ‘Dad, I want you to speak at my job,’ she remarked one day. I told her I knew nothing about fintech. She urged that I come and discuss (my) work.”
Hunger, according to the lawyer, actor, and novelist made it easier for him to go from one vocation to another.

“It’s hunger,” he explained. Hunger is a form of training. I don’t like not having and I don’t enjoy failing. I have trained myself to be adaptable. “I am absolutely focused and committed.”
