TyStringz Announces Debut EP With New Hit Single ‘Shy’
TyStringz, a fast-rising artist, sets the tone for his proposed debut body of work, an unnamed EP, with the release of another stunning track called ‘Shy.’ On the Marphy Jay-produced song, he features famous Afrobeats performer, L.A.X, and it will be available on digital platforms on Friday, April 29th.
He breaks down his creative process, and ‘Shy’ redirects flowing optimism into empowerment, allowing my audience to feel secure and grow after hearing such an encouraging song. The writing was done in an instant. On my first listen, I could sense the energy as well as the emotion, which helped me construct the lyrics and melody, which helped to give the song a direction.
When asked about his collaboration with L.A.X, he stated, “My colleague, L.A.X, had the same spirit as mine.” He could instantly relate to the music when he heard it. It was a breeze for him to compose his part to such lovely music and with such a powerful message.”
TyStringz acknowledges his evolution and how his music continues to change while providing new insights. “My music is growing as I gain confidence, become more free-spirited, and create and write more freely,” he stated. It’s becoming more expressive and deliberate, and I feel it can only get better from here.
“In my new song, truth pervades my songwriting.” My new Afrobeats tune is about inspiring women to see themselves as the magnificent beings that they are. The rhythm, with its emphasis on percussion, helps me to feel loose and free. It’s a cheerful infusion of tropical pleasure mixed with beautiful instrumentals that melts away any anxieties.”
With his EP on the horizon, he reveals, “My intentions for my EP would be highly inspired by my upcoming release Shy.” I am confident that the next song will provide me with a plethora of chances and attention from new admirers, as well as a large audience reach. This would assist to attract the vibe I want to create before releasing my EP. “I have a lot of tunes that are recorded and waiting in the archive.”
TyStringz, the first of four children born to Dr. and Mrs. Fatokun, was always a smart intellect endowed with an aptitude for academic achievement and an inherent love of music. He had a perfect academic record all the way up to university. By the age of 19, he had earned a degree in Computer Science from Covenant University in Otta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Following his year of necessary national service, he enrolled at the prestigious Loyola University in Chicago. At the age of 22, he earned a Master’s degree in information technology with a focus on cyber security and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
When the epidemic caused him to work remotely, he unexpectedly found himself with extra time. He took advantage of the occasion, and his music sprang to life once more. Since then, he hasn’t looked back.
Since then, he has rediscovered his guitar, written over 100 songs, and published his debut single ‘Shalaye’ in 2021, which has had over 150,000 views on YouTube. He keeps releasing new songs, with his most recent piece, ‘Far Away,’ receiving over 500,000 views in only three weeks. TyStringz has also paved the way for huge Afrobeats artists like Davido and P-Square.
