Atiku congratulates Tinubu on his APC primary victory.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has responded to the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Atiku congratulated Tinubu on becoming the APC’s presidential candidate.
Tinubu’s triumph was termed as a “hard-fought struggle” by the former Vice President in a tweet.
Tinubu won because of his tenacity, according to Atiku.

Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, will campaign for the APC in the general election next year.
This comes after the 70-year-old received more than half of the votes cast at the party’s convention in order to earn the ticket on June 8, 2022.
Tinubu received 1,271 votes from the Special Convention’s 2,322 delegates.
Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, his main opponents, received 316 and 235 votes, respectively.
Tinubu will face challenges from the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi, among others, in February.
President Muhammadu Buhari will leave office in May 2023, having served two four-year terms.
