Justin Bieber has revealed that he is suffering with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

“I wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is caused by a virus that destroys the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves, paralyzing my face,” he explained.

“You can tell that this eye isn’t blinking. On this side of my face, I can’t grin. This nose will not move, therefore this side of my face is completely paralyzed.”

“So, for those who are disappointed by my cancellations of the upcoming gigs, I’m simply not physically capable of doing them.” As you can see, this is a severe situation. I wish this wasn’t the case, but my body is clearly telling me I need to calm down.”

Ramsay Hunt syndrome is characterized by a painful rash around the ear, on the face, or around the lips.

When the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head, it causes shingles.

This is not the singer’s first time being diagnosed with a condition.

It should be noted that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2020.

“While a lot of people continued screaming Justin Bieber looks like garbage, on meth, etc., they neglected to comprehend I’d recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease, not to mention a bad case of chronic mono, which damaged my complexion, cognitive function, energy, and general health,” he wrote at the time.
