Following the heartbreaking divorce of Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, also known as Jenifa, from her husband, JJC Skillz, an old video of the comedic actress reminiscing about her previous marriage has surfaced on social media.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo on her first marriage, the actress said that she did not allow the failure of her first marriage to destroy her.
According to the mother of two, she only wanted to get married, do things right, and have children, but it didn’t work out as planned and ended in disaster.
She went on to say that hard times would occur, but that humanity should be able to navigate through them rather than being swallowed up by them.
